The festival, held under the three themes of 'fun, taste, and affection,' was attended by over 130 participants who had the opportunity to fully experience the daily life of a farmer.

Farm life was transformed into games such as 'fast potato digging' and 'finding the prettiest potato,' which received enthusiastic responses from participants. Additionally, snacks made from freshly harvested potatoes delighted everyone's taste buds.

Souvenirs were generously provided, including traditional Korean pants called gojaengi, handheld fans, potato bread, and Gamjabat merchandise, conveying the warmth and generosity of rural hospitality.

The 1st Chuncheon Potato Festival was praised as more than a simple local event, serving as a platform for coexistence between urban and rural communities and communication across generations.

The organizers stated, "This potato festival is a meaningful attempt to break down the boundaries between rural and urban areas beyond just an experience."
